About This Programme
The Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) course is a diploma program designed to prepare nurses for community health settings. Spanning 2 years, it focuses on training students in basic healthcare and midwifery to support the community by providing primary healthcare services, maternal care, and assistance in childbirth.
The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills in community health, pharmacology, health promotion, and disease prevention. ANM graduates play a crucial role in India's healthcare system and are often the first point of contact for healthcare in rural areas. Upon successful completion, candidates are eligible to register with the Nursing Council of India.
Intermediate (10+2).
Age: 17–30 years on 31st December in the year of admission.
