About This Programme
The Bachelor's in Medical Lab Sciences is a 4-year undergraduate program designed to train students in the essential aspects of medical laboratory technology. This course covers theoretical and practical knowledge in areas such as Clinical Biochemistry, Microbiology, Hematology, and more, preparing students for roles in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases.
The curriculum emphasises hands-on training through practicals and internships in real lab settings. Graduates can pursue careers in hospitals, private labs, blood banks, or further studies in laboratory medicine, making BMLS a foundational course for those aiming to enter the healthcare sector as skilled lab technologists.
Intermediate (10+2) with PCB. Minimum marks: 50% for General & OBC candidates; 45% for SC/ST candidates.
Age: 17+ years on 31st December in the year of admission.
